Our Beginning

A  love and passion for the industry was the first thing that brought the vision to life for Sarrita. Discovering this opened up new opportunities for continuing her education - travelling to several salons in other states, taking classes and admiring the wide array of décor. This time allowed the her to really get to know the wide array of styles and realize that her passion was quickly turning into a vision. A vision where stylists could be creative, individual artists within a salon company that thrives on a constant stream of education and teamwork.

With a little help from local distributors, Sarrita was introduced to the Summit Salon business center. In January 2020, Tampa hosted the 300th Summit- a 3-day intensive business training seminar focused on helping salons succeed. She was  quickly immersed into the business center, gathering all the tools and knowledge to really make the dream become a reality.

Then the biggest curveball of 2020 was thrown: Covid-19. A roller-coaster of emotions flooded as she watched the industry shut down completely. Uncertainty was a daily hurdle, but decided that nothing was going to hold the dream back. Utilizing the support team of distributors, coaches, and accountants, she moved forward towards the dream- with a new set of eyes trained on safety.

Fast forward just a few short months and here we all are! The Collective is a living, breathing salon company with an amazing space and outstanding team of stylists and associates. We are forever thankful to all of our amazing clients who were just as excited and eager for this opening. Without your constant support, we wouldn't be here!
